Tuesday a year ago, I was bowling with our team in Senior league. It was taco Tuesday so I had a few tacos before bowling. I was thinking the tacos didn't agree with me because after each frame, my chest was burning. During the third game I started to fear it wasn't the tacos. I wasn't smart enough to head to the hospital and shortly after midnight, I had my heart attack. It is hard to believe it's been a whole year already.
Today was league day, and again, taco Tuesday. I couldn't bring myself to eat tacos so I had lunch at home. I felt strange and a little scared at the bowling alley, but after throwing a few lanes with no 'heartburn', I started to relax. Now I am looking forward to 2010 being a great year!

I am so stupid, I didn't realize why you were wanting me to go bowling today. I'm so glad you made it through ok. I'm so glad you had no heartburn and I'm so glad you are looking forward to 2010!
ReplyDeleteWhat???? You had a heart attack!! So glad you are alright. Things happen. I had surgery on my right cartoid artery in August. I was on the verge of a stroke. I am doing alright now and it's good to know you are too. God is good!
